Reading over some previous fixes over the years on Support Forums (this one included) I've downloaded HijackThis and DDS and ran their reports. After researching this online it appears that it will keep coming back until certain steps are done first. And now my internet is redirecting me to other sites everytime I click on a link. I've ran all of my virus protections and yet this still keeps coming back. The name of the file it keeps finding is shell.exe and its showing up as a Win32:Cycbot Trojan Horse. It mentions the same location every time.Ĭ:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Over the past 3 days I've noticed a virus popping up and being directed into my Avast Virus Chest.
